Terms of Service

Who we are

The Service is operated by Universal Asset Library ("we", "us", "our"), a trade name based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

What we provide

Universal Asset Library builds desktop tools for Blender and Houdini that help you browse local asset libraries, search online sources, preview assets, and import them into your projects.

We sell software licenses through our website. Payment is processed by Razorpay. Specific license rights are set out in the EULA.

No affiliation with third parties

Universal Asset Library is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Epic Games, Fab, Quixel, Sketchfab, Poly Haven, ambientCG, AMD/GPUOpen, PBRPX, Poly Pizza, LazyTextures, Three D Scans, SideFX, or the Blender Foundation.

All third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatible services.

Your accounts and credentials

Some online asset sources need your own API key, token, or sign-in. You provide these in the software on your own computer.

We do not operate a shared login for third-party asset sites. Your provider credentials are not sent to our license servers.

You are responsible for keeping your UAL account password secure and for all activity under your account.

Third-party assets and licenses

We do not sell, host, or redistribute third-party models, textures, or HDRIs. When you download from an online source, content comes from that provider to your machine under that provider's license.

You must follow each provider's terms and each asset's license — especially before commercial use. Universal Asset Library does not grant you rights to third-party content.

• PBRPX may require a separate commercial license from PBRPX for commercial use.
• Sketchfab, Fab, and other sources may restrict commercial use per asset.
• You are solely responsible for compliance with provider rules and content licenses.

Changes to online integrations

We may add, change, or remove connections to online sources at any time. This can happen when APIs change, providers update their policies, or for security or legal reasons.

Removing or changing an online integration alone does not give you an automatic refund. Local library features that do not depend on that source remain available under your license.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to break the law or violate third-party terms.
• Abuse, scrape, or overload online sources beyond normal use.
• Share, resell, or crack license keys (except as allowed in the EULA).
• Pretend to be affiliated with us or with any third-party provider.
• Redistribute third-party assets in violation of their licenses.

Purchases and payments

Purchases on our website are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

Universal Asset Library is not currently registered under India's GST. Prices shown are as listed at checkout unless law requires otherwise.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and the EULA about software license rights, the EULA controls. Razorpay's terms apply to payment processing.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the license that gave rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, or actions taken by third-party providers against your accounts.

Some laws do not allow certain limits. Where that applies, our liability is limited to the minimum required by law.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Universal Asset Library from claims arising from your misuse of online sources, your breach of these Terms or the EULA, or your violation of a third party's terms or content license.

Age and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase and use our software. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including license activation. Online providers and Razorpay have their own privacy policies.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived, courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes related to these Terms.

Grievances (India)

If you have a complaint about the Service or a purchase, email hello@universalassetlibrary.com with your order details and a clear description of the issue.

We aim to acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and provide a substantive response within 30 days, or sooner if required by law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms, except where law requires additional consent.
